Lumier Studios ("we," "our," or "us") operates the website lumierstudios.com (the "Site") and provides creative strategy and film production services (the "Services"). • Project Information: The goals, budget range, project notes, optional story answers, and other materials you choose to share. The initial brief asks for descriptions, not confidential files. We can arrange a separate transfer method if a project needs source materials.
• Transaction Information: If you become a client, we may receive invoice and payment status information from the payment service used for your project. The website brief does not collect card details.
• Communications: Records of correspondence when you contact us via email, phone, or messaging platforms.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Technical Information: Our hosting and security services may process IP address, browser details, request time, and requested pages to deliver and protect the Site.
• Optional Site Analytics: If you allow analytics, we count public page views, interactions, time on page, and loading performance. PostHog receives anonymous public page views with a hashed random tab-session identifier and a canonical page address without query or fragment values. We do not send form contents, contact details, account identifiers, IP addresses, or browser user-agent headers to PostHog, and do not record your screen. See Section 7 for the choice available to you.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

• Service Providers: Hosting, database, email, payment, and production providers may process information needed for the service they supply. A project proposal or agreement can identify additional providers and transfer arrangements for that project.

Some projects use AI tools during development or production. We agree on the use of client materials and any required providers as part of the project scope. Please do not put confidential files or sensitive personal information into the initial website brief.

• Client Materials: We use materials you provide to develop and deliver the agreed project. Where a third-party production tool is involved, its handling of submitted materials should be reviewed as part of that project's workflow and agreement.
• Deliverable Rights: Ownership and usage rights depend on the agreed deliverables, payment, and any third-party licenses described in the project agreement and our Terms.

6. Data Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect information, including:

• SSL/TLS encryption for data transmission
• Access controls for project and inquiry systems
• Service-provider security controls

While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but will notify you promptly in the event of a data breach affecting your personal information.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our current website uses the following browser storage and cookies:

• Preference Cookie: lumier_cookie_consent remembers the choices you make about optional site analytics.
• Optional Analytics: If you allow analytics, public-page measurement stores a random identifier in this tab’s session storage and records anonymous page views. Other optional site measurements count interactions, time on page, and loading performance. We do not start this optional tracking when you reject it or have not chosen.

The current homepage does not run an A/B test or create page-assignment cookies. If your browser has assignment cookies or experiment settings from an earlier visit, the Site removes them.

You can change or withdraw your choice using the Site's cookie controls, or clear browser storage. Your browser may also offer a Do Not Track setting, which our optional analytics respects. The cookie controls do not activate advertising pixels.
